Today, i went to the juvenile court for my bro's session. The atmosphere was veri tight, everyone has this depressed and gloomy look on their faces. I know the conclusion liao... Even before the verdict was out.

Due to traffic jam, we arrived there at arnd 9, which the session will start in 30mins. Fwaring tat my bro will not have food to eat, my faher asked the officers for permission to gohuf meal outside. At that tme was 9.15 le. We arrived at the coffee shop, ordered and waited for the food to come, in the end we oly left wif 5 mins to eat. Bro gulped down his food as quickly as possible, and as i watched, the situationlooked lk sme "las meal b4 execution" lidat. So hurry...

He is afraid, i noe tat he is really afraid now. From his tensed behaviour to his unusual quietness, i noe.. But wad to do? isn't it a bit too late for regret now?

In the juvenile court, i am not allowed to enter the court room, oly parents allowed. But, my mum cant walk, so oly my dad went in. At first, when officers went in n out tat time, i managed to see my bro n dad inside when the door opens. After the 4th or 5th opening, they were gone, and the next accused parents were called in. As the 3rd n 4th runds of parents were called in, i began to panick. Y so long??? Dun tell me it is...

N true enuff, when my dad came out wif the Probation Officer (PO), his whole face was red. Ah xuan ( bro) went in le, to jalan bahar there the home. N i cant even gt to see him b4 he left. Oly his jacket, which my dad passed to me after bro went in.I was even more saddened... My dad, i could see tat he wanted to cry, but he cant. After tat, we left the place.

Actually, the saddest person is not me or my dad yet, but rather, my mum. She cant walk, so cant go court. When we came home, she oly get to hear tat bro went in le, she dint even gt to see her son for the last time... although on the 30th then will be the final sentence, but we noe, tat he will most likely go in boy's home or hostel for 2 yrs. Heard dat he will get bullied in there, cos today we heard a mother sayin to another parent tat her child got urinated on when he was bathing, and got beaten up till there was bruise on his stomach, but he cant tell the pple there, as he afraid he will gt it worse from them.
I hope he can bear with it for these fw weeks...

Today is my mum's clinic review, we went to SGH again.
However, the difference was, i managed to realise one thing, tat not all singaporeans are bad; and not all in the life force are helpful. This was wad happened.

Albert was in charge of pushing my mum's wheelchair, so on our way back, after we crossed the zebra crossing to gt to the dialysis centre, we came across a road hump. Albert and mum were stuck there. At tat point, there were 3 pple: 1 guy sitting beside the hump smoking, and 2 policemen, a gal and guy. Upon seeing albert's difficulty, the policemen turned to the right, despite the fact tat the policecar was just right ahead, to avoid the kind of misunderstanding tat wold trigger in us tat they choose to ignore the situation. Instead of them helping, it turned out to be the man beside us hu helped. He quickly stood u to see wad he can help. We told him its alright, and he went back to pick up his call.

So, this is wad we called community help/service eh? A small thing like this is able to let us see the real side of tat 2 pple. Kindness should come from the heart, not come with intention. Despite how many stories we read abt life savers, it may not be wad we think it is.
